Money for Nothing - Enough confidence

I have always had enough confidence in myself to grow without external boundaries, (only my internal boundaries held me back).

I have worked for myself since I was 19 years old. I paid a man that was cleaning one Jack Lalannes health club in California my last $800, (next months rent). It was the 10th of the month and I had to impress the owners of the health club enough to a) make sure they pay me and b) give me more clubs to clean in the future. Boom, H&R cleaning service was born and grew from there.

When I would give a bid on an office building I would do the work for the month and then bill and get paid for that work, after the work was done.

There were times I would go into supermarkets, clean and high gloss wax one half of the floor so they could see the difference just on the chance they would give me the contract to finish the job.

Fast forward to today.

I approach a vendor, say, a new local cruise ship and ask them for %20 commission, they say “Show me what you got first Jay” To that I tell them, “remember, 20 % of nothing is nothing so you have nothing to lose by giving me the 20 %, but if you insist, then what is the number you are looking for, they say, $25,000. and you get your 20%, I say, OK if I bring in $40,000. Then you lock in 25% for me OK. DEAL.

I work and involve 8 travel agents to help me reach that goal for one month before seeing penny one.

As you can see, I am very comfortable with giving service first then receiving my payment.

I expect to do business that way.

I can’t remember any losses, but if I have had them, first I would chalk it up to an expense and second, it has not stopped me from doing business that way.

I don’t know where it started that the person looking for the work asks for the money first on a promise to deliver a product.

I have heard of very select few instances where the employee gets the job, gets paid first, then works the 40 hours.

So, I would not expect to be taken out of my comfort zone of paying for a service after I have  seen and approved it, so I wouldn’t want to take anyone out of their comfort zone by trying to convince them to let me pay them after the work was done..

I am going to start a fast food restaurant.
I will have cold toasted buns with cold melted cheese, soggy veggies, warm 100% beef and pork by products, and maybe even some sesame seeds.
I know I will make it big because I have three excellent business models to follow.

Fort Lauderdale events. April Showers, bring May Flowers

This is what I have to say about outdoor events in April.
"April Showers, Bring May flowers." I am talking specifically about the events that are in Fort Lauderdale. The Lauderdale air show, last year, was canceled on the Sunday portion. This tear the Tortuga music festival has, at least a gloomy looking start today. I sure hope it clears up. I hope the airshow for 2014 will be in May.

Google got me, and penguin too.

This man here, me, Jay Taylor, got hit very hard by Google penguin thinggy. My business dropped by 80 percent. I scrambled to get back in at the top, (12 to 16 hour work weeks, I mean work DAYS). it took me, let's see, April 2012, May, Jun... January 2013, nine months to recoupe about 60 percent of the lost income and business.
It has made my sites better.
I have learned other sources of traffic and income. (it is dangerous to depend too much on one company), DIVERSIFY. It's safer.
I am stronger now, and I fear no penguin, (but Google still scares me. LOL)
I have learned clean, Google sanctioned, tricks.

Most of my sites are a 3 or 4 page rank. but I noticed that is not so important to Google any longer. here is a little something I wrote to another reader/writer.
"Ramon F. Do not fear, Google is not giving too much thought to PageRank any longer, for the moment anyway. May be it is because of what you said, young site are looking good these days and Google want them to have a chance at the top as well. Just concentrate on making your customer happy and if your site reflects that, you will be OK.

I have been with this company for 7 plus years. The only thing I have to complain about is the time it take their customer service department to answer a "Non Server Down Call", about 7 to 10 minutes. If, on the other hand, you call about a "server down" issue, I have no Idea where they get the techs from, but they answer inside of 2 minutes.
So if you are in the market for a VOIP system, if you see and use them, it's OK by me.

They won't give you or me anything, but at least you'll have something to make the sales person comfortable with. LOL

Yes, I went to google.com for help in clearing my site.
Yes, I got my site cleared by Google.com

No, mywot.com did not take their red circle from beside my site.
No, mywot.com did not pay any attention to my pleas of removing my site from their red circle list.
No, I do not use mywot.com any longer.
No, I do not trust mywot.com to protect me or anyone else.
Yes, I feel sorry for the 70,ooo,ooo. downloaded mywot.com users.

In closing, this "Web Of Trust" can not be trusted.
